I'm with Tim on this. The trailer looks good but don't like the 8 tires. Seems a silly way to build a trailer. Some wide tires would be much better than that arrangement. Still, if they put them on a trailer it would seem they would put a tire size that you could find easily.

    they are easily found...in china...

That is the biggest problem with all these inexpensive (read: cheap) trailers (and other tools and equipment) being built in china/india and sold at the China Freight and big box stores. Its a one time deal. You buy it and there is no way to get replacement parts or service. There may be a manufacturer's warranty, but what good is it if there's no way to make a claim?

I've noticed that HD and Big Blue tend to change brands every couple years. They were selling an american made trailer and the names changed, but it was the same manufacturer. Now they have other brands. These trailers were never really great as they used stamped tin and/or flimsy plastic tubs. My guess is, they'll soon be selling chinese junk to compete with HF and Northern tools.

I'm wondering if it's designed so that one of the duals can go flat and you can still use the trailer. Allows a guy to fix it in his spare time. If each of the tires had a 700lb weight rating, that's 5600 lbs. I don't see that happening

if they go flat often, I'd just slime them. for low speed off road stuff, slime is the bomb.

You can find replacements, on amazon. But you'll get the same stuff. So if it wasn't good, then you'll get more of the same.

Just type the size in your search bar with the word tire. Just did this with an oddball sulky tire from the 50’s. Found quite a few tires but I actually found the correct rim and tube designed to work with a split rim.
Haha turned out to be more than I was willing to spend for that particular sulky which wasn’t much. Still surprised to find stuff who’s designs are at least 60years old.

I agree. Looks like I'm buying it for 150. When I get to it, gonna fab up some sort fenders. Cutting the axles off, and finding a solution. That solution will be free. That thing pulls nice though.

Wow. Just did that. I can't believe that you can type out whole (I think) sentences in the search bar. Now I'm thinking mini irrigation tractor tires.

I agree. Tire design was terrible. My friend finally got ahold of the manufacturer. He asked for tubes, and THEY don't have any. Said they recommend buying whole tires and rims. Doesn't make sense to me. She did tell him the engineer will be notified, so I'm sure that will fix everything right up.

3 months. It does have a warranty. But that doesn't get the job done in the mean time. He is welding on his old war wagon tonight

Check the ply rating on those irrigation tires. Generally speaking they’re not designed for real abuse. Perhaps much better than what you have now but,,,,,,,,be warned.
Let us know what size tires it has. We’ll do some shopping for ya :)

Just how nasty is the landscape in your area? Sounds like you need a new pair of boots every month and if you happen to fall down you get packaged up as hamburger!!!
