First time chimney sweep

    So after paying a chimney sweep over $100 the last two years I bought my own flue brush and rods and did it myself this time. I sweep my stove pipe once a year and this is a picture of what came out in my stove. I am assuming this is acceptable but since I haven’t done it before I just wanted to get some input from you more experienced chimney sweepers. Is this an acceptable amount of ash and does it look ok?

    Looks good by my standard cleanout, but the more experienced may feel otherwise.

    Timberdog looks like a cup or 2.. Not bad.. I am not seeing and of the really black chunky creosote bits. Looks more like grey ash.. That's a good thing. Is your pipe clean??
