Our house in the woods build

We talked to all three of them and went with Showcase. They were they only builder who was a dealer for KBS modulars. KBS is a Maine company. Modular companies from out of the state or in Canada are much more limited as to the size of the modules they can easily ship, pretty much max out at 13-14 feet wide. With KBS we were able to get full 15 foot wide modules no problem we just had to pay for a front escort. It might not sound like much but when your designing the floor plan 30 feet wide vs. 28 is a lot.

Leroy. Could also be Chris, grew up with him as well but he has only been there a few years, Leroy has been with them for almost 20. I know all the guys there from sales to service. Also deal with all the dealers for my job. If it's Roy doing the work I will let him know to do an extra special job, he'll be at my house Saturday so I can find out from him.

 

Leroy built the walk out wall today, or that's what Dave our sales guy told me, I haven't met anyone but Dave yet. In addition to the finish work they are building a porch. Dave has been great to deal with.

 

White crew cab Chevy, license plate says Leroy , thats Roy. Chris has a black truck. They are all a good bunch of people there although salesman tell you what it should be, the guy that does the work tells you how it's got to be and complains about the salesman. I need to send you a PM about another thing for my daughter, she is going to college next year for Neuro science and wants some shadow time.

 

Sure thing, JAX is a great place and has a strong education program, even if she just wants to visit and see what goes on in a research lab we might be able to figure something out, tell her don't be shy!

 

I will send you a PM. She's looking to major in Neuro science and then go to med school to be an Orthopedic surgeon. She loves that kind of stuff that goes on there,

 

I talked with Roy today. It was him that did your knee wall. I told him to do an extra special job on this project. He says your foundation measures up better than most and everything should go smoothly.

Second occurrence for the small world phenomenon for this thread...turns out MikeInMa brother and SIL are colleagues of mine and will by relatively close to our new place

 

We cut right through that 6-degrees of separation to 2.
