Agreed. Home safe:) It's the town we lived in for 25 years, it was always growing quickly like the rest of Colorado, but holy cow since they legalized marijuana in 2014 it's jam packed it exploded, traffic like California now. I have a primary care doctor here, but see my rheumatologist there twice a year, and, he's the best of the best

According to grandfather he's dying any day. Said he didn't expect to live to be 50, he'll be 80 in February. Still smokes like a tilt. Only the good die young, he's gonna live forever.......

Foggy again this morning. Lots of chores today as we took the day off yesterday and drove 3 hours to our favorite restaurant for lunch. Weather was great.

campinspecter also got a new peavey to replace the broken one. I managed to get it in the back seat of the car. He won't be able to use it for a couple of months but at least we got it.

Funny you mention that. I spend too much time yesterday looking for my pickeroon. I've used it quite a bit in the last week but suddenly it took wings and flew off somewhere. Just said just go buy another one. Don't want to and think I'll find it but we'll see. I lost one of my log tongs a couple months ago and finally gave in and ordered a new one. Hate it when this happens. I think it is time I spray paint some bright red on some of my tools.

I'll get grandmother back around supper time when dad's girlfriend leaves haha.

Nights on the couch with grandmother, about the only time I truly relax

This peavey comes with bright red sprayed on the metal part. My Dad used to spray orange on all Mom's gardening tools so she could find them when the grass grew up.

I now have a can of bright red paint so will be doing some fixing. Think I'll spray both top and bottom of tools.

So what is wrong with this scenario? Sitting at the cottage (both of us) and I'm staring out the window at the lake...she asks
"What is it you want to do?"

1/2 hour later we're driving back to town to work on the log pile! Got another chainsaw tank of gas knocked off this evening...in the misty-sprinkly rain!

Sitting here now just wondering why the he!! I came back for that! :picard:

Instead of enjoying a warm fire at the cottage on a cool rainy summer evening watching movies, I chose to come back to work outside in that slop!
