Just picked up our summer child from her camp.. 13 years olds are going ., Dad going ..
First coat mud on 900 feet of new rock and girls room is Done..

Girls are going to help pick up and organize tools tomorrow.. They will learn this week the secrets of living in a house while sanding and painting.. I.E. it includes shop vacs
and a lit of damp mops

 

Thought I was going home tuesday....I'm going home tomorrow instead

 

Finally, a morning I can sit on the porch and drink my coffee. Humidity is off the charts, but it's cool enough to tolerate.

Fall cant get here soon enough!

Gonna put a new steering box in the Bronco today. Hopefully, that will be the end of my steering issues.

 

Geez, with that short wheel base and a 7.3 TD, I'd think you'd hafta steer with the rear brakes!

Caffeine going in. Time to take the backhoe off the M59 for the first time. See how it goes and see if I can get the three point hitch on. Took a trip to Syracuse yesterday morning and picked up that and the two foot bucket. The only thing is I opened the boxes on the 3-point hitch and I didn’t get the pins that connect the arms to the tractor. After I get the backhoe off I’ll se if I can find some pins locally. If not I may have to make a trip to a Kubota dealer Monday morning. We’ll see.

Lazy morning today. Fog sort of lifting and then moving around. Awesome sunset last night. I think we have outflow smoke from the mainland in the air so the sun was deep red and very easy to look at. Going for our walk now. campinspecter is able to go for walks around the area now. Healing is going well.

I'll assess what went on the Kohler in the tractor, borrow my neighbors simplicity to finish the lawn, park the boat properly, and put salt into the water softener.
