Son and his wife left for Pa this morning. It was good having them here for a while.

Strange thing happened this morning. We have 2 100lb propane tanks. Suddenly this morning we had no propane so could not use cooking stove. When I went out to check, it said both tanks were empty. Went back in and the wife had a fire on the stove. What? Checking further, I found when the regulator switched to one tank there was gas even though it showed empty. However, the gas was then going from one tank to the other. So, a trip to get a new regulator and had to fill some tanks too. Haven't put the regulator on yet as body was not liking handling those tanks so I'll change out the thing later.

Well the big week is here.

Set up the shower tent for the bathroom remodel and order a 5.5 gallon flush camp toilet. It was far cheaper to go that route than a construction toilet.

We have never used one but the reviews where very good and it looks like the same concept as the rental toilets. Supposed to arrive Monday!

Tomorrow I’m going to buy pvc and build a cheap stand for the shower tent so we can hook up the hose. We have hot and cold outside.
I’m also buying plastic panel to pull under the shower tent. If I can find it the grass will get crazy otherwise.

Hopefully 2 weeks max! But these things get out of hand fast... We have been saving and buying supplies for a long time. We have tile, vanity top, vent fan, lights, and much more all bought at Home Depot clearance sections. Really good deals!

The plan is Monday start gutting and by the following Monday have the floor down and leveled out. Anything beyond that is icing on the cake!

Interesting. Less drama than there could've been. I was able to do what I needed to do, and nobody bothered me. A few coworkers met me at the local bar, and that was nice.

My new boss emailed me early this afternoon and said he was looking forward to me starting on Monday and that he'll be bringing lunch in on Monday. I like the reassurance. He knew that my last day was today.
