    Well, see, I really don't care. When I go to the hardware store or farm and garden store, and I've been working and sweating, I go as I am. - and who cares what my vehicle looks like? Sometimes I go in my nice, newer truck. Sometimes I go in my old beat up, shot at Focus (BB pellets apparently), with a Pellet Pigs sticker on the bumper. they take my money just the same. I will admit that if I stink, I give my pits a wipe with alcohol - I like to be courteous that way.

    You should see it when I haul firewood in the trailer behind my Audi. I walk into the store in my work bibs, boots, and a t shirt or flannel with sawdust/ chips on my hat.
    They don't know what to think. For me the greasy/ dirty jobs are my home jobs as I'm an office worker for my profession.

    So, a day off for me. I have to work Friday though. I gave notice to my current employer a number of days ago and I start at my new job on Monday.

    Still a Buyer, in a different industry but now being paid a lot more, with better benefits and lower healthcare costs, and a 14 mile commute vs the 32 mile commute I had.

    I'll miss most of my current co-workers but this was a no brainer.

    I've invited my coworkers I'll miss, out to the local bar after work tomorrow.

    It was a big decision, as I'm comfortable where I'm at, but all the signs were telling me that I needed to change companies to get where I needed to be.
