The wetlands by us which is a game preserve is completely dry. All you can see as you cross the bridge is a dried up lake bed. I haven’t seen that I’m probably 5 years and never this bad.... all the rain has been falling around us but not on us. We need a good three or four days of steady heavy rain.

How many people in your party? I was angling to go there, but I had my grandson that day, so it was the Grand Buffet. Again.

Caffeine is going in. Slept in a bit. The piles burned fairly well, but still a lot of stumps smoldering. This morning....

Last night when I got home I realized the cleaning up of these fires is a tractor job. Way too many large pieces of stumps left to be trying it by hand. So I’ll wait till things dry up, (we got and are still getting more rain:yes:) and then put the M59 to work. Pile them up and burn them again. Hopefully I can get this whole area cleaned up, finished off, and grass seed planted by the middle of August. We’ll see.

Is customers like the whole management staff at company X? Or was the bill for 4 people $900?? Thats just crazg and a sin to me. I dont see how a place can exist that would cost that much and how come people go to it? You cant tell me that what you ate was worth paying $200!!!!! For!

Gasifier did you try out the saw holder?

I’m debating buying a few more of them myself and am curious how it worked out.... Going to make a garage wall hanger with them that can double as a truck bed saw rack.

I had considered attaching it to my last tractor, but decided not to. Had a sneaking suspicion that I might sell/trade it. So I’m glad I didn’t. I’m getting ready to build another three point hitch carry all box similar to the one I built before. And I’m going to mount it to that. Try that and see how I like it.

It is crazy especially at a cheaper "chain" restaurant. Alot of places get double or triple the prices "the capital grille" charge.
Most restaurants are getting expensive. But 900 for 4 people...it was the booze!!!!

Food I can see paying little more for if it's high quality but the markup on Booze is unreal wherever you go. A certain brand of beer is a brand of beer anywhere, a shot of Jameson is a shot of Jameson, to mark it up double and triple is outrageous. Take ballparks for example, your talking 8, 9, 10$ for a beer in my area, are you kidding me?

At the last concert we went to the beers (about 16oz cans) were going for $16-$18. o_O We had a beer at the hotel before, I skipped them at the concert, and had a few more when we got back.

Bars-pubs are almost that much 6-7 dollars for a nasty beer. Double for liquor.

People love to go out and spend money.

Citidiots are invading my area really badly...a" good time " is time spent at a restaurant. But that's their hobby....
I used to go barefoot as a kid(and I was one of the few kids around) now I get stared at for having work pants on or rust on my vehicle when stopping at the hardware store....
    Rant over:picard:
