I've had instances of "Deja Vu" over the years, and I myself had the same type of "instinct" in '85 when my mother was in the car accident that landed her in the wheelchair for the rest of her life.

There are a great many things that are, and remain, unexplained.

For what it's worth, I am not averse to the notion of ghosts or spirits, just have not had the pleasure of having their existence confirmed to my satisfaction.

    I get those too.
I also know when someone died, but only if they want me to know. Those instances wreck me for a few days, and then I get a phone call. But I had one a few years back that was the opposite, and that had me ecstatic to a weird point. It turned out to be true, 4-1/2 years after the fact. Long story and only 2 of the members here know it.
Now, living in an old mining community, I hear things. Lots of "ghosts" around here.
One night, around 3am at my old shop, someone walked right past me. Big thudding footsteps, cold breeze, from right to left behind my back. I'll never forget that one. From then on I used to curse them out when working late, to not do that again because I was busy.
And then there's my house....... old lady in the blue nightgown. I know who she is. I've never seen her but the cats and dogs know when she visits. And my friend Rick,..he saw her one day. He and I were BSing and he got this weird look on his face, asked "who is that?" He saw her at the top of my stairs and he's not the type to come up with that sort of thing. She lived here for a long time, not sure when she passed. She was blind, the reason our electrical outlets were all upside down, so she could plug them in right.

Reminds me of a co worker. He moved in with his girlfriend when they were in their forties he unpacked a 1920’s era photo of two young men sitting beside each other. She asked how her grandfathers picture got in his things. He said it was his picture of his grandfather. After concern about an incestuous relationship, they learned they both had the same photo, and their grandfathers had been good friends.

I've had a couple of those too - very strange when I know I've had the exact same thing "happen" and know how it is going to end up. It's never anything really important and usually centered around work :picard:

About 15 years ago is was working in a house in Dover, NH. A late 1800's Victorian undergoing some renovations. The boss asked me to check the attic to see about cleaning it out. It was full of antiques and very old framed pictures. The oval shape, mahogany veneer type. The frames had pictures of old women and a few babies. High creepy factor.

I was working alone in this empty house one day in November on a calm day right at sunset. I was tiling the kitchen floor when I felt a cool breeze pass by me. I looked out the window, no trees moving with wind. No doors slammed, nothing. There is no doubt that I had an experience. I called it a day at that point.

And then there's the whole recurring dreams thing to deal with too!
