Need Help with Husq 257 broken guard…

    This got beat up and finally broke it. Anyone know if I should be able to get a replacement guard at a local dealer, or is it likely an odd ball, and would have to order it? What is the correct name of the guard? Thanks.

    It looks like it has caught the chain a bit? They go by a couple names, bar plate, wear plate .....

    Husqvarna however calls it a "Chain guide plate", part # 503631002 :yes:

    I pick up alot of saws without them in place. But it is there for a reason ! Hope ur able to find one. Ill dig through my bag of parts to see if i happen to have one.

    Well, I called the nearest dealer (nice guy) and drove over (15 mi)… not bad. He spent way more time than most would looking all through his older stuff to see if he had one. He really tried. Nothing, so he's ordered one (I took the old pc with me) and it'll be here maybe tomorrow he thinks. Can't beat that.
