Yes, they got a lot of great experience in NYC, but they are on the path of a lot of young marrieds.. and love to see them settle in the suburbs of Portland someplace.

    Howdy!
Rain and grey clouds with the rain sticking around thru the next few days, dangit! I've got wood to cut.
Split and stacked most all of my wood in the shed yesterday, even moved a truckload I had outside into the shed and I'm not half full yet. At this rate the shed aint ever gonna' get full before the fishes really come on,,dang it all!! Me thinks I should of built a smaller shed if my goal is to have a full shed before fishin'.
Have good day out there. Peace.

A Jersey barrier about 4 feet from the mail box might allow it to last more than a year (likely it is not legal) other than that you are likely to have it taken out each year. Our mailbox is where the plow would be on a soft shoulder if it gets to close but even then when they wind up the plow just the snow being thrown can do the dastardly deed. On our third post in 7 years.

Seems all the tree guys are back at work around here. Plenty of trucks full of chips going by. I saw a log load driving home and the 'free rounds' company was out pulling their trailer today. As tempting as it is I'm going to have to wait till the fall. I'm only going to be home three weekends between now and Memorial day. I'm going to need to wait till the fall to order some logs.

I'm glad to see that prices have not gone up here. (I guess you can also say that prices have gone up infinitely, but then again zero times anythign is still zero.) Plenty of guys to get wood from.

Looks like another nice day here in sw Maine. Sun and 40-50. It's been great for the slow melt too, though there's so much snow up north it's being watched extra close this year, I guess. Lots of rivers in Maine and they can get nasty in spring.

Gonna work on the logs I pulled yesterday. Have a gud one… :D

Good morning. Pouring rain pushing 60 degrees with plenty more rain in the forecast. Woke up to long rolling thunder that shook the whole house,,of course I rolled over and slept some more.
You folks have a good day. Peace.

Is she working? I'm worried he'll get a law degree and then be a highly educated unemployed lawyer.

Took a few much needed days off from work-de stressing time. Taking it easy today, gonna get my butt out soon for a 4 mile walk to the lake and hopefully see some activity at the eagles nest on the river. No eaglets last year but have had the pleasure of watching them grow up 3 summers prior. Very cool

Here is a pic of the single eaglet 3 summers ago
