The humidity took a day off here....only 49% with a 65* dewpoint. Feels nice compared to yesterday.

I’ve owned Nissan, Toyota and Ford. Worked and liked them all. But Nissan would be last on my purchase list.

Another five face cord stacked. It wasn’t too bad in the shade so my son and I did it all at once.

I've owned a Mercury, Pontiac, Toyota, Chevy, Plymouth (part mitzubishi, part Dodge), Isuzu, Jeep, Suzuki, GMC, and Ford. Jeep is last on my purchase list, Pontiac is down there too. Oh, and a Datsun.

I see your point, but every generation of every model has some known flaw. Toyota used to be rusting extremely prematurely, they turned that 180* but their fuel economy still isn't what it should be last I heard. I've also heard the new tacos aren't as good as last gen, though they look better IMO but looks don't haul wood or anything else. The legendary 350 gm had an issue with gaskets failing, gmt800s were another truck that rusted prematurely. Ford was particularly known for exhaust manifold failure for a good few years. Dodge.....transmissions, among other things. I could go on with more about all of them. Nissan I never hear much about, except a few people saying they're on the thirsty side, I so can't say I've ever seen a titan with any real rot, but they never were all that popular until getting more so recently no not a big number of subjects to judge.

None of them are perfect, no one's gonna build something that's gonna last forever if they're selling it to someone else. Not standing up for ford or any of them.

Yup. Over the years I’ve owned cars and trucks from just about every manufacturer that sells in the U.S., except the high line more expensive stuff. Most are good quality now-a-days, as far as reliability.

There is one thing we can probably all agree on.

It is a good time to be alive!

Our homes, automobiles, tractors, boats, UTVs, ATVs, mowers, chainsaws and wood splitters!, other work tools, computers, phones, all our creature comforts items, and the health care that hospitals, doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers provide, make our lives very nice.

Well, the biggest POC vehicle I ever owned was a bought new, 2004 Nissan Xtrerra, so I will never even look at them again. The only reason it lasted longer than the 5 year loan I took out on it was because I paid off the loan in 4 years. It didn't even have 110k on it and it needed so much work that I was getting quoted over $6k - and they didn't know the 4WD was out of commission.

I took that thing in for every scheduled maintenance so spent a small fortune just on the upkeep. The rear hatch had to be completely stripped, primed and painted because of known issues (it took me a while to get them to agree to do it on their dime since I was as 36k miles and the warrantee was up at 35k). My final straw was when the starter crapped out on Christmas eve, stranding me 30 miles from home. And that little gem cost me over $500 to replace because Nissan has proprietary parts they don't let others copy so I couldn't get aftermarket thru anyone. That is also when I got the 6k estimate to fix the known (to them) issues. I took it in a couple days later to trade in for the 4WD Patriot. Sure, the Patriot had its own issues, but it was cheap to maintain, and was cheaper to buy than the Xterra - even 4.75 years later.

Toyota - yep, those are great, but also way out of my price range.

I upgraded the plastic on the old greenhouse tonight! Wiggle wire track! That stuff is amazing!!!

All the plants are outside now they’ve reached the point where they no longer need to be inside.

My nephew had an Altima that had bad struts under warranty and the dealer said they were okay. He eventually got those replaced. The final straw was the floorboards being rotted out while still under warranty. My son's GF had a Murano that had more miles vertical from being on a lift than driven on the road. The drivers seat was also always coming off the mounts. A very common problem. She goes out and gets a used Infinity. Another money pit.
