Thanks so much that's the one I've seen get a lot of great reviews. Your not alone with the wife, she thinks I lost it (probably right). Something to look forward to playing with after I am done playing with my racks.
Mine came, I love it! Went right through knotty cedar. I'm thinking of tying it up in bundles for storage.
After a tap or two, the blade grabs on to the wood nicely, so you don't have to hold the wood much to split it. I haven't bolted mine down, but it's heavy enough so that it doesn't want to shift around much. I think it'll be a good splitting solution for small diameter stuff. Aiming at a 3" or 4" round with a maul is pretty hit or miss.
