    I can understand your mindset, but at the end of the day, just about any hobby has inherent risks. If anything, racing in a car with a certified cage and all the safety gear is still a very safe sport. Just unfortunately, things go sideways sometimes. I'd just have to guess that bicycle riding is a FAR more dangerous sport than racing is.

    Dont be stupid, but do what you love safely. Strapping into a race car, crawling in your XJ....driving to the lake for a swim. Anything can happen, but you're more likely to have a problem on your way there than while doing it!

    But then again, what do I know? I'm a stupid bastard that's been low 10s @124 on a snowmobile lol.
