    Wooo! Odd 4th for fireworks here, some last weekend and few the last couple nights, but the campers on the end of the lake brought it on strong later tonight, and it was great:)

    Caffeine going in. Another day of stump pulling ahead. Getting a huge amount of work done. Just incredible how much faster this thing is than my tractor.

    We went to a friends farm last night to watch their fireworks display. We got there before dark and found out they decided to change it to Saturday night because of the heat. We were not sure if we were going to it so they didn’t know if we would be there so never told us. LOL Oh well. We came home and watched the Macy’s Fireworks Spectacular on the TV. It was a good show.

    The money they must of spent on those fireworks o_O:makeitrain"

    Glad to see they had huge crowds for them. And those crowds were good to see from my recliner.

    X3 - even with the leaf litter in the forest to help keep moisture in, the soil is dry at least 6" deep. Pretty soon I'll have to start watering established shrubs/perennials that are in the "wet" areas :hair:

    You didn't get any of that rain? It didn't rain much up here in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, but it rained just enough to say it did. That cooled it off up here just right.

    The rain ended right before our boat ride up to watch the fireworks that the city puts on. Great show, and my 9 yr old cousin is having a blast up here. We picked her up on the way up north Tuesday, and we'll take her home in our way back home on Sunday. My wife and I with our dogs are entertaining her, and she's staying with my mom at the cottage.
