That is a good solid record, esp. these days. One more and it will be 50yrs, for us. 4 kids and eight grand kids. Not too shabby!

Sure is hot and humid. We went out for a late breakfast. Skipped lunch and had take out pizza for supper. Staying home and trying to stay cool. No fireworks for the dog and I. Wife will watch some on tv. We will go do something once the weather cools down to a tolerable temp. This is really exceptional for Maine.

Hot it is soooo I don't run the expensive to install 2 condenser ac setup(extremely expensive to run electric) for the old house but run a window unit in the bedroom(set to its coldest setting 64*) so I have a chance at getting some sleep.
Bitch about the cold in the winter and guess its time to bitch about the heat in the summer..... I left Florida because of how much I hate the heat !
Still counting the days till surgery and they are way to many as the second shot which had awesome effect I believe has worn off, relentless agonizing pain has returned for the next 22 days and nights. Not sure how I am going to make it but open to suggestions from all here.
Helped the wife move some product (heavy product well right now heavy) mowed the lawn early to beat the heat and getting ready for bed now at 7:15 pm hoping that I can get some decent sleep. Have Hellvard in the morning as a lot of Supers are out so Ill be running the site myself, Oh Joy !
Hope all are doing well !

Wifey corralled me 32 yrs. ago. I stuck it out for a bit but she wore me down.
Went to the lake today with the older son and family. Spent time with the grandson digging in the sand and walking in the water. Left early because it was packed and some little boy became cranky. We were going to enjoy a barbecue here at the house and load up the boat and fishing stuff so we can go fishing tomorrow after work, but I guess a truck (tractor trailer) tore down power lines on the little back road behind us and we lost power. Went to the sons house and barbecued, came back home and fired up the genny so wifey could get water and AC to sleep ( she has to get up at 315am). Young son and I loaded boat and kayak into truck. Got it all done and went to go into house and the guy across the street was motioning to shut off genny, and pointed to street light. Power on ! Sweet. Sitting here nice and cool watching my car shows. Life is good. Hope you all had a great fourth and God Bless America !!

    Doggy
