Makes me cringe when I see people get the SF out...I don't like it on diesels...hate it on gas engines! I've seen the ring lands blown off pistons from it...well, not blown off, but deformed enough so it pinched the top ring!

I’ve been so busy I don’t have my firewood ready for this coming season. No excuse for that. I decided I better order some so it can start drying. First five face cord to be here Friday or Saturday. Next 5 two weeks later.

    Thank you friends :)

Had I not got going, I would have taken a cab to a pet friendly hotel, or a car rental place in town (except I had Blackie dog with me) or figured something else out .

Mag Craft , I did not realized it breached more containment lines, hopefully there's not many homes in that area. The smoke plume on the way home was smaller, so hopefullly they are getting a grip before it hits more big beetle kill fuel.

:salute: brenndatomu , I won't ever use it , it will go on the supply shelf in the garage :) Hopefully nothing damaged, if it makes a difference they told how to incase I did not make it all the way home, take off cover of air intake tube by passenger front bumper and one short quick spurt, crank engine, then reassemble. I can find my way around and do basic things on my Blazer, but my brain scrambles when I look under the hood of the D-max. It happened twice before around 2011 and 2012, and both times I had already made it home and in my driveway then turned over the next day, not sure why it happened today, only 90's* compared to the 105* back then Maybe using cruise control of 75 on mountain pass? Suppose being on 1/4 tank full has anything to do with it? I was LITERALLY in reverse after getting tea and lunch to fill up at the pumps 20' behind me, idled for 5-10 seconds and clunked out.

Also, I'll get either a dedicated ratchet & socket to keep in the glove box, and /or a XXLLL wide flathead screwdriver to get that vent screw up, and already have some dedicated large splits under the toolbox for a step stool. They ended up getting that screw loose with the new miniature Gerber leatherman I bought during Father's Day weekend sale, I kinda chewed up the slot with narrow flathead them then the outside with the small leatherman pliers.

Actually, you need a second person to use it "properly"...it needs to be sprayed while you're cranking...not many people do this though...yet one more reason why damage can occur
Good chance, yes. Sounds like the lift pump may be weak...maybe...not a D-Max expert

2005, crossed 100K recently, but no more than 125K. Only replaced A/C condensor 2012 and last month a ball joint thing.

I was in reverse when it peetrered out and did not see guages, but when I tried to start it again nothing was redline and the voltage was 14.

Caffeine and breakfast with Dad this morning. He has already dosed off in his chair after eating and having his coffee. He must not have slept much last night.

After my mother comes downstairs I need to go for a quick run before it gets too hot. Then back to digging more stumps with rental excavator. I’ll try to post some pictures later. I’m on vacation this week and most of next week.

My friend called me with this hot tip... IMG_20180703_15161.jpg IMG_20180703_21238.jpg
I told her it was a little too big for me. Anyway, prodded me to stop being a spoiled brat and pick up more oak rounds from the dump.

That's big stuff. Pine above and below, with oak in the middle.

I like the challenge of cutting big rounds, but it's not for everyone. It also adds a bit of something to watch out for. Those big rounds can crush limbs, bruise, or break bones.

They were truly massive. My friend has an inflated estimate of my capabilities! 2o5j9yF.jpg
