I am glad to hear you go to group Larry! I do too... Belive me when I say I am all to aware.

I’ll tell ya what I do to deal with trigger noise this time of year. I put my noise canceling earbuds in and listen to audiobooks at night. The noises really only bother me at night.

If you want I can set you up with audiobooks! I’ve got a couple hundred of them.... They help me focus and shut out things that I don’t need to listen too.

I’m that guy at work that’s always got earbuds in lol. Except they know why and are ok with it.

Will be another easy day...I think. Not too much going on except a board meeting tonight. Might dig out a stump or two or move some sand.

I agree, pity there isn't more land there. Honestly, he might be a blood relative but I'm glad to see him gone. Behavior from him includes but is not limited to hitting my dog with a truck (a rusted out 03-04 silverado, truck was probably hurt worse than the dog) and not letting anyone know, grandfather, his own brother, caught him stealing from us the other year, and I recall dad was asked to put down a dog for him and his wife just cause they didn't want the dog anymore (good luck getting dad to do that to an innocent healthy animal).

My other great uncle on the other side is a much better guy...

:picard:My 4 hour tour to pick up kiddo and the IBC totes tuned into a hot sweaty 7 hour ordeal. Took me an extra hour to find the totes location ( Burns Mag Craft ), and then my truck quit at a truck stop (TA Hillsdale Mag Craft ). Poor kiddo, and I brought Blackie. Were home finally. First 2 construction workers looked at it, but were on lunch break so went back to work. Second pair of 2 men were so very nice, scary looking but very kind. WWW finally got into cell phone service (he was 2-3 hours in the opposite direction in Walden) and told them over speaker phone how to vent the fuel filter and pump it back up. It really wanted to start but it couldn't do it. They mentioned starter fluid, I bought some and now home!!!!! I gave them $40 I had on me. I forgot the ratchet straps so spent $20 on new ones at a walmart out there, then $160 for the totes. Expensive day, woooops.

Yep you were right there in my part of the country. About 6 miles south of Burns and we would have been visiting. Sounds like you had some tough times going there but finally got it figured out.
To bad the badger creek fire is spreading again. Crazy.

I drove up to Yellowstone on Saturday and then back here on Sunday. The Brother in law broke his arm about 10 miles back in the wilderness and had to be air lifted out. It was a pretty severe break
and they took him to the hospital in Jackson. I drove his truck and horse trailer back for him and my wife and his wife drove the car. It was a fast weekend.

Don't use that starting fluid on D-Max...I don't like the stuff anyways, but its a real bad idea with glow plug engines...can go BOOM! And BOOM! = $$$
I do keep some around...but use it mainly for parts cleaner...SF all too often gets abused by those who don't know what they are doing on an engine that starts hard, or not at all...repairs shops love it! Can do a lot of damage quickly!:makeitrain"

I had one diesel on me once!

Seriously though it wouldn’t shut off after the fluid was sprayed in even after it was turned off it just ran away for a good minute. Granted it was an older vehicle but still :hair:

It has been really hot here. Probably the same for most of you Hoarders as well.

I spent the entire day today pulling stumps with a Kubota KX 121-3. It has an air conditioned cab. What a digging machine!

This picture was taken from the machine looking back toward the house. A good distance away. These piles are pretty big. Especially the one in the back-middle.
