    Well for us in WNY its here. The heat wave. From now until next Friday virtually 90's straight thru with the real fell as high as 110F!!! Not gonna do much wood splitting just gonna let my stacks bake out. The woodshed with a metal roof which is stuffed should hit 120-125F!!! inside....Almost like kiln drying...Be safe everyone....:)

    Yep, 10am and it's 78°F on the front porch. Will be hanging out inside with the AC running this afternoon.

    Same here in Mew Brunswick. Hot as can be and humid to boot:). I work today and tomorrow then off for 3 days. Still have 1 line of fence left to trim so will have to be up with the roosters on Monday To get it done.

    87* right now......found two nice CL scrounges.....nice dead oak n hickory....too dam hot to do any of that......maybe later next week..I don't think its goin any where..

    10:00 am today was 85. Yuck. Dewpoint way into the 70's and so is humidity. Yuck, yuck.

    Lol... summer sucks..

    Seriously its my least favorite season. We went on vacation in May starting in vegas, zig zagged thru SoCal deserts and flew out of San Diego. The locals kept saying that we must be cooking.. it was in the 90’s and saw 105* in the mojave... it was super nice to us. You see they dont have humidity lol... sissys!! Dry heat is nothing compared to the swamp in the summer.

    Its 95* right now with heat index of 105*, no air movement, and the skeeters/black flys/ and horse flys out in all of their glory! Summer sucks!!

    Well, if Accuweather can be believed :rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol:, we hit 97 today with a "real feel" of 104.
    Down to 91 right now, so I'm only sweating if I move.
    Gonna be tough getting motivated to do anything, unless I try in the AM. Never got the AC hooked up, but that may happen SOON. Just need the condenser and lineset......and my brother's help.

    You aren't kidding. I worked on a red oak for 5 hours today. The sweat was burning my eyes! Definitely a headband tommorow.
