    It's usually not that bad in the Midwest. We typically don't get the stupid humidity.

    Today, I rode the motorcycle to work, like I did all week except Tuesday. The ride in was nice, but the ride home. Uggg.

    I wear all the gear, all the time. I got stuck waiting for a looooooong train and the black over pants with no venting, and the leather jacket, even though perforated, with vented leather gloves and helmet was HOT.

    That was a 10 minute train. oh boy. My body never really fully recovered after that. The heat and humidity couldn't be over powered by any speed today, and that train was in the first couple minutes of my 45 minute commute.

    Got home, stripped all that off, and sat under a fan in the AC'd house. Then had a salad, and the wife and I went out to the movies. We saw the new Jurassic World. Our local theater sells beer now.

    That was a really nice Blue Moon.

    Cool weather coming in tonight. We could use it since the fire kicked up again though I did really want some time outside tomorrow. 63* high, 38* low forecasted.

    It was 80° and humid already at 7:45 this am. Now it's 83° and super sunny.

    Headed out on the boat to cool off today. Hooking up the 4runner and getting packed. The heat index is too be 108° today.

    I've got coolers of cold beer, food, towels packed, and a wife already motivated this am. We'll be out on the water in no time.

    Actually most years there will be more singles than twins, but some of that depends upon the age of the herd does and also the available food. You'd like it if you'd seen it when we've had several fawns born in our yard. Love to see them when they are newborn. Super small indeed but it does not take long before they grow fast and get quick footed.

    That is, being west of the big pond your humidity isn't quite so bad... Pretty sticky around here especially July through September.

    Today was painting and cedar siding repair on the house. All was well until the sun turned the corner. I gave up after four hours when the sun was direct to the house. I'm about medium rare now.
