    So I was in the local stihl shop yesterday... They had a 441cm that I tried for a few minutes. Was impressed, but told him I had too many saws to buy another. He said they like to have some used saws around to sell.

    One thing led to another and we ended up working a trade. I got a new 441cm and a matching 261cm in exchange for some of my old saws :)

    Had to give up an ms200, 026, 044 and 066. Also gave him a 346xp, 254xp and 359. But I got to keep all the bar and chains for the stihls since he said he was just going to put new ones on to resell.

    I really wanted to keep the 254 but he wouldn't do the deal without it.

    After five minutes with a 441 cm I just knew I had to have it. Never thought I would become a moronic fan boy. The saw was always tuned just right and I saved a good 1/32 of a second cutting through a 16" log because of it.

    I'll keep the little orange screwdriver to fix my friends saws, but once they run my new moronics I bet they will see the light too. (Govt intervention in the free market can be a good thing, who knew?)

    He gave up an 044 , 660, 200 and 026 and 2 more pro huskies and a good 359... unless they were all beat I dont think he robbed him if this is real???

    It was an 066. Don't think he would have gone for a lame turd 660. He said he has a lot of guys looking for the pre EPA saws that stihl made its reputation on.

    So your dealer put the 261's clutch cover on your new MS441RC-M or did you decide you liked the captive bar-nuts on the 441 just that much better? :p (I remember that thread on AS.... ;) )
