Great. That makes me feel better about buying it and all those different pellets.

I’ve got a measuring cup that I scoop with... if I’m on a long smoke I’ll fill it (4.5 to 5 hrs worth) otherwise I’ll just fill about 1/2 way... light it with a propane torch... blow out the flame and put it in... also great for smoking cheese....

Got to try out the new slicer on an eye of round I lightly smoked with pecan and roasted on the Weber.
You guys were right, this slicer is great. It’ll cut down to shavings if I want. Thanks for the tip on this one.

:handshake:Going to be getting mine out a bit later today! Got a prime top round right now. Going to put it in bags for the freezer so we can use them for sandwiches whenever we feel like it!

As a heads up I’m going to try something a bit different later.... :bug::binoculars:

A little background on this... I’ve been laid up a week and a half and got to watching cooking shows and happened to see a guy do this on a show called “Primal Grill” . I guess it’s Colombian and called Lomo Al Trapo, just had to try it!!!!

    Looks tasty.

Was it salt inside the towel?
Did you soak the towel to keep from burning?

Didn't know the missus is pregnant, congrats.

Yep kosher salt and a good amount of it. As for the towel just soaked it a wrung it out. Pretty cool and fairly expensive dinner, but tasty!!!
