    Had a real busy week, this one that just passed.

    Helping out cousins that had some rental trucks to load up their parent's home for a cross country move. The house is now for sale.

    Also, had the addition to the garage built this Tue and Wed (yes Eric VW there are pics attached!!!) The addition will come in real handy for over the winter storage of outdoor stuff that will be out of the snow. I had to get some soffit vents to close off the open rafters where the roof of the lean-to was tied into the trusses. I didn't want any bugs/critters finding their way to a new home, right? Also added three light fixtures and a switch for the dark months coming....the days are getting shorter now, ya know!

    Also, painted the interior of the outhouse, stained the picnic table, raked on the driveway (restored after the trucks were in and out of it), survived taking a bath in the supposedly e-coli infested lake waters...(sheesh!), cooked a brisket, hung a TV in the garage's "Dave Cave" to name a few of the projects.

    We had a great time in the lake today. What a beautiful day. The dogs are tired. Also new friends stopped over and they let me try out their stand up paddle board. First try and I did very well. I didn't fall.

    e-coli warnings are out for lakes swimming fishing boating etc after the storms that wreaked havoc on the area last weekend. Paper says "state health department closes (enter name of lakes)"..

    Big scare, right? First sentence in article reads.....".....closed due to the potential of high e-coli presences....."

    So, as I read it, that tells me that maybe the chance of e-coli is present....right?

    I went swimming for the first time this past weekend. As usual, with my bar of soap to bath with at the same time!
