Where 1 plastic insert makes 2 roofs, what do you plan to use the rest for?

There is a big 4” valve on the front bottom of these totes so I am making one roof out of the top half. I’m not really sure what to do with the other half of the totes yet. I am keeping a few of the valves though maybe I’ll find a project for one of those yet...

I didn’t have anybody to help today or I would have. It did run through my head... Loading is the easy part unloading is where I need a second set of hands for a second row.

I was seriously thinking about it because we have a couple lifts at work.

Scrounged 2 from Work to keep my fish in while I redid my pond. Sadly no room in my garden for them so took them back with the lids cut off

leoht how long has your totes held up? I’m hoping for at least 5 years but the neighbor says they will only last a couple winters and rust out.

    o_O They look galvanized!

My oldest one is headed toward 10 years old, and barely rusty...a coat of paint would make it go another 10 at least

Pallet Pete, I have a couple of IBC's that are about 15 years old, they look a little weathered but are holding up well.

All of my Schutz IBC's are galvanised.

I think how long they last may depend on what was stored in them originally, IBC's that had caustic or acidic chemicals in them don't seem to last as long.
