The boss has 25 and 20 on those drugs.

I don't have hydro in my line up instead I get a .2mg alpha blocker as a whizzing pill. It is my 3:00 AM wake up call. Sometimes it doesn't go off. Depends what is still in the ole bladder.

Squash and garlic going in today. There should be plenty of garlic in the garden this year.

Same here. I am late getting things in, but in my own defense, I've had too much going on all. With my sickness, Cindy's hospitalization, and then the loss of my old lab, I just am behind. Whatever comes from it all, is what it will have to be. Just thankful it wasn't worse.

I had potted up some of the tomatoes into larger pots so I could gain some time and growth in the solar space. Some of the plants I set out now have little tomatoes on them. (sweet 100's) I have 4 of those and 6 plants of regular size tomatoes. One of them is a black tomato. Even the growth is black! Really odd to see a black plant growing.

Yup, they still are. Manischewitz and Kedem still make concord grape, IIRC.

She is better. Has taken her last antibiotic. Maybe the heaves will stop now (doxycycline). She tires easily, but then, it seems everyone our age does. She stays inside during the heat of the day. She is recovering from pneumonia. I've been doing a lot of the cooking so our meals are very basic. I'll be doing another store run today to get fresh greens. Good for her.

Shaws, Hanafords, and Walmart all carry the Manischewitz but it doesn't appear that the Shaw's I was at carries it.

I am just setting out seedlings for that today! With the heat coming, they will take off like rockets.

Doxi is hard on the digestive system even the 100mg for two days to ward off tick bite issues sucks.

Larry, I was unaware that you lost one of the labs.....so sorry to hear that. I know those feelings and its rough. My deepest condolences.

Add to that the rest you are dealing with, especially your wife Cindy.

Life just seems tough all around lately.

Got one of the cats on it for 6 weeks to kill off anaplasmosis and bartonella-both from ticks. 2 .25 ml doses a day followed with 2 ml water as the doxi can burn his esophagus. Thankfully this cat is pretty tolerant to give liquid meds to as he has had quite a bit in his 8-10 years. Same guy that had his teeth removed which was the cause of many meds until I decided to give the OK on removal. Now its the dam tick stuff.

We have a bottle of doxi pills just to halt the back and forth to the docs for tick bites. The boss had a long term need back in 2008 IIRC. The doxi did a number on her. I've so far managed to stay clear of it on a long term basis. Doxi is not liked in this house.

Nothing wrong with basic meals as long as they are nutritious. Sound like you are doing a good job taking care of her
