I agree Hoarders are more like family. This being my first GTG with FHC members I felt like I was part of the Family. I thought about doing a GTG but Well Seasoned set the bar pretty high. I'll have to give it some more thought. It was nice chatting with Fuelrod, and Bear and CBVT and all the FHC'ers and that Jack Straw what a hoot! Can't wait till next time.

That looks great! You can spray some black grill paint on the pit poker or rub some veg oil once in a while to keep the rust away.

Thinking "continued good vibes following the gtg".

    Yup - that's a good thing.

We'll Seasoned - any indictation of a bear using the port-o-potty? It would add data to the age-old question as to what a bear does in the woods.:D

Well Seasoned , Brain, you and Dawn sure did a lot to your place since our visit last summer. The gardens, porch, chickens etc. Busy bees! I have all I can do just to keep out of my own way!
We really did have a good time, and in my mind, I continue to have a good time with my thoughts about the event. Everyone was and is so considerate, caring and giving. Don't remember when I was in such a good group of folks. Those good feelings have helped me a lot to get through the tough times since. Wife in the hospital with pneumonia, (better now) and the loss of my dear pet dog Max. I still have Molly, pictured in my avatar. She is a real comfort to me.
Hope to attend another GTG. Best people ever!
