I was going to say not to get rid of all your pallets, but I see that you are putting the tires up on blocks. I have had problems in Jan/Feb with picking up totes, because they froze down to the ground. Now, my totes are on bricks, sitting on a wooden pallet, or sitting on RR ties.

I don’t need to move them once they are set up but I thought the blocks would help a lot with not having to bend so far over to get wood out of them.

Our property is so small we don’t have a way to move them up or I might just consider that.

Ultimately I’d like to remove the pallets all together from the wood stacks by fall and have all of these totes set up. I’m tired of using tarps and dealing with the rain and I’ve pools on them every year. It’s going to be a huge improvement to have pitched roofs on top.

Time is the issue it may happen and it may not we will see...

I got 2 more in place and gonna work on filling them today and tomorrow. They look pretty good! Definatly gets looks from the walking path behind our house...

I cut doors into the front of them leaving the upper and lower supports I can fit through them fairly well and the totes appear to be nice and strong non the less.

Looong way to go but it only takes about an hour to place and fill one so with any luck a few weeks and it will be finished!!!

Ooh, a craft project! The easiest way to do that would be a stencil and spray paint. What method do you have in mind? 41fOaB7B22L._AC_SY400_.jpg

Not really sure yet honestly we where talking last night and I was joking about painting them with plastic paint. The joke turned into more of an idea as the night went on now I am actually considering it...

I know you can't glue that plastic (at least I've never heard of anybody being able to get anything to hold) I wonder if paint will stick...
