    The view from mom and dad's covered porch doesnt suck. Had a nice fathers day dinner. Filet mignon, shrooms and onions, taters, corn, and 3 beers. Life is good.

    Foolishly decided to drive 3 hours to shoot trap today in southern Ontario. Blistering hot, I managed to break 181/200. Thank God the AC in the car worked flawlessly for the trip home. Hope all you Dad's had a great day...............................

    Hi, I have not heard about terrible weather and flash floods here. Where did you hear that so I can google? Is it the flood warning by Yellowstone Nat Park? Hope our MI members are ok!

    Nice tie up party.

    We resembled that tie up party except we were in shallow water. It was HOT today, almost tied a record. 93 today, record was 94 was the record.

    Up early this morning as campinspecter is headed out for another load of wood. I am going to get some weeding done before work as it has been too warm in the evenings. It may hit 78 F this afternoon Wow! No high humidity though as the westerlies keeps it dry. I think we are in for a week of this kind of weather.

    Most definitely they all have to follow the same route and it is a tough one too with lots of climbing mountains. If you look at the link, at the bottom of that page there is a graph showing elevations on the route. But don't let that confuse you. Almost every one say the mountains in the east are the toughest. Why? For sure the racers are tired. There are more climbs and close together plus they are usually much steeper. But the western mountains are much longer climbs with higher elevation so breathing can also be a big problem along with cold. Wolf Creek Pass usually still has some snow at the top but I think there was not much this year. I've driven through some hard snows on that pass during RAAM too. Scary.
