    When we left yesterday.....the weather was beautiful.....until we got to PA....fog was horrible n it was rainin cats n dogs the whole way home down I-81. We parked the car right outside the back door...honestly...it was less than 10 feet away n we couldn't see it as the fog was that dense...

    Dammitt! I used the members map for most of the invites! I'm sorry I missed you and a few others! Next year, beers on me!

    Dawn & I have hiked the whites since about 2007. This has been a dream of our for a long time, and a long time we waited! The stars finally aligned and we were able to pull the trigger! Toward the end, I especially was getting edgy. Crime was really increasing where we were, and I didn't like being "stuck "between major cities, but ill save that for a pm. ;) Teacher to student ratio 100+ to 1, etc. Reminds me of growing up back in the 80s, slow and simple. :yes:

    I took notice to the dryness also...creeks n streams pretty dry...yards brown n the stipples were already growin.
    I can't remember either..lol...I just asked Jerri this mornin if she was standin there when we were talkin n she don't remember..
    The views were awesome...we pulled over several times n took pics....look forward to seein the rest of yours..

    Oh man, I had no idea! I used the urinal plenty. I did sit down on it without the strap today to see what the fuss was about- yup, tipsy, I see what she was saying! :hair:

    Thanks for the close up - all my pictures of it came out fuzzy. Guess the camera was trying to focus on the much bigger background. Hope fishingpol pictures came out - he got one of it in front of the sunset and also in front of the fire.

    A big thanks goes out to Midwinter for putting my up Friday night. I wish I would of gotten in earlier so we could have spent more time together.
