The one time I was told to go thru with shoes on, I ended up having to strip anyway because the zipper on my jeans kept setting off the alarm. Seriously, I can't make it thru any line - even way before things got tougher.

o_O Caffeine! First day off of a one week vacation. I’m going to try to not to do any work today. Everything is all wet from recent rain so no tractor / ground work for a few days anyway.

All caffeined up though and having some fun exercising. Went walking/running on trail in the “big city” and through our woods. Listening to some tunes and doing some sets of stairs, squats, push-ups, and light lifting with kettle bells.

Been busy here, but having fun. How have all you Hoarders been doing?

Nice to hear from you and have a great vacation! I've been busy moving wood around the yard and into the shed, and then comes opening the pool and trimming the hedges. Time out for the NE GTG next weekend.

So, going for a walk with Holly, she goes chasing chipmunks like usual and I sit on my round I use as a seat. A couple left behind for such a purpose, when I notice a snake just under the bark of the one near my beer.

I slowly pull back the bark for a better view. :bug:

At first sight I figure it's a juvenile copperhead. We don't have any abundance of poisoinous snakes here, but there are some.

I took Holly back to the house, grabbed some tongs and a large plastic jar and retrieved the snake for identification.

Turns out it's an Eastern Milksnake. :)

    So, it got released.

Kinda wigged me out at first though.

Once I know that they are of the non-poisonous variety, I'm ok with snakes.

Till I'm sure, I treat all unidentified snakes as if they were a gun, always treat them as if they're loaded and dangerous.

Little one wasn't thrilled with being disturbed though. :p

While hunting for a job is never fun, I'll tell you that at least you had great timing. Right now it's an employee's market. Meaning that as a job seeker, you've got more jobs to less viable workers to fill those jobs.

It hasn't been like this on over 10 years.
