I just dug up this tree, and moved it to another location on my property. Wondering what kind of tree it is??

Any ideas? It's only about 8' tall, so it is a young tree....

Young mulberry? That's an uneducated thought. It kind of looks like it might be to me though.

I vote for a Rose of Sharon. I have one and the leaves on mine are just about that same size as yours.

The last picture - to the lower right of the tree, I see wild mustard. Pull it out by the roots, It's terribly invasive. White flowers, with heart shaped leaves. Get it outta there.

Rose of Sharon as others said, then tend to self seed and drop little offspring everywhere.

Correct. I've dug up and replanted the offspring, as well as given them away. Some might call it invasive. I call it gift giving.

I haven't seen it bloom, but it was/is small and was in between a bunch of bushes and another tree so you could not see it. I just dug it up, and replanted it in a spot I needed a nice tree. That's why I'm trying to ID it, I didn't want to be re-planting a "junk" tree...

Rose of Sharon, interesting! I'll google some pics of it...

More of a bush/shrub than a tree if it is, although can get 10 to 12 feet tall or so
    Hummingbirds like them.

Yea, I see that via google, thanks. Hmmmm.... I might have to replant it elsewhere, the spot I put it in I really want a big tree. I actually want a good pine tree there... one of the ones with the long soft needles that stay very full in the winter.
