I seem to have fought it off with sleep and vitamins. Haven’t had any symptoms. She’s doing better symptoms wise. Still exhausted and sleeping a lot. Thanks for asking.

Low key holiday weekend for us.

Haa down in the 40's tonight and raining so yes the P68 is removing the dampness and warming the old house up tonight , yes it feels wonderful to sit in front of it with a Bourbon and soak up the warm dry heat. Been busy as heck but made my way back to chat with the FHC peeps and will fill in whats shakin with Lune after checking in on ya'll.
Health: 8 weeks and still hurting like a mofo but have a diagnosis which was a long road just to get to but heh its here and still moving forward even if it is slow and painful. Have a pre-surgery consultation on the 8th of June with the Surgeon to discuss what is fuxed what can be fixed and what will be taken care of and if I have my way it will be everything possible. To much chite to list and bore ya'll but a few things are 80% torn Rota-tor cuff, 100% Labium tear / Slap Tear , Calcium deposits and bone spurs, degenerative everything, bunch of other crap but Ill end it here. 4-6 weeks out scheduling for Surgery and I am hopeful it won't be that long as it has been 8 weeks so far since it has become agonizingly painful and am testing or pushing my threshold limitations.
Good Stuff ! : Built a new rig as mentioned previously for my wife, reformatted and reinstalled OS and recovered files for my Mother in Law whom I love dearly, Built a new rig for myself and am quite happy with it, actually ecstatic as it is the fastest rig I have built for myself. Still ahead for builds is Mom and Dad which I might tackle tomorrow and to take all the components out of my old rig and assemble in a new case(existing is huge Cooler Master full tower ) for either my brother or nephew.
Work: Sucks still at Hellvard but that is where they want me to utilize my skill set.
Completely bummed that I won't get in the fishing I had planned this year due to health crap but might be able to get in some before the surgery. Was gonna give you a run for your Money JT !
Would like to get my Stash setup for next winter but won't do it until its the right time . Yes Sub you told me and every time the orthopedic office ask me if I remember an incident of injury I have told them no, nothing specific. Then I think back when you told me you are not 36 anymore but 56 I have to believe that when I humped 12000 lbs down into my basement that was when it started to go downhill and is responsible for my current condition along with so many years of what would be considered abuse to my body . I can learn and listen believe it or not.

Great to talk to the pellet Peeps. I'll list my build for the Geeks among us below. Hope all is well as much as can be for everyone here. If someone would be open to a visit from an temp crippled let me know I think I really need to go on a drive-about to keep my sanity. A couple of days away from here might do me good. Perhaps before or after surgery, not sure yet but if you wouldn't mind a visitor send me a PM .

    Build for me:
Cooler Master HAF 912 - Mid Tower Computer Case
EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G1+, 80 Plus Gold 650W, Fully Modular
GIGABYTE AB350M-DS3H AM4 AMD B370 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
    Team T-Force Night Hawk RGB 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200
Samsung 860 EVO 500GB MLC V-NAND SATA III 6Gb/s M.2 2280 Internal Solid State Drive
SanDisk SSD PLUS 2.5" 960GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SDSSDA-960G-G26

Hope y'all get to feeling better.

Been there done that "Abuse thing"
Too many years of Boat racing as well as Snowmobile racing and the destructive pounding.

Then add to it the jobs that required standing on concrete all day.

Curious ... which OS ya using ????? Win or one of the Linux Distros ????

I finally got up the gumption to remove the front storm door that had become mangled in a fierce wind during the winter. I seriously had it tied to the inside of the front door knob to keep it closed until I removed it. Was challenging taking the door part off by myself, but I managed without hurting myself or breaking any glass.

Scraped, sanded and painted the wood door frame so it will be ready when I get a replacement storm door. This house moves around so much between summer and winter that even installing a new front/door frame a couple of years ago only reduced air leakage. I'm going to have to find an ingenious way to keep the new storm door closed at all time thru the movement. Fortunately I don't use the front door, so even if I have to use a system that can only be opened from the inside, that is alright with me.

So far just windblows 10 Pro X64 and surely annoyed with it but if your going to game its really the only choice as I have tried gaming in Nix, getting better for sure but not there yet.
Not sure what flavor of Nix I want to install but certainly am going to as I always do , any suggestions out there on distro's as of late ?
Only Windows 10 Pro X64 and annoyed with it actually but if your going to game you have to have it. Have not decided on what flavor of Nix to install, any suggestions out there on what distro's as of late I am open to hear it .

    Thanks Snowy

Yard work this AM, Got the garden tilled. Tilled a spot so the chickens can scratch up some worms. Oil changed in the buggy and the wifeys P/U.

Time for din-din... Got the grille fired, getting some burgers and dogs ready. Macaroni and tator salad! One of the trout I caught for the wifey too. :)

Got a few rides in this weekend on the scooter. Friday night went for a short ride and dinner at the Amenia Steak House. Today went for a 125 mile ride with couple of other couples and an old friend I haven't seen since high school. Back and hip started to really hurt at times. Gonna have to get the hip looked at, I think its arthritis. Had lunch at Infinity Hall in Norfolk Conn. Want to go see a show there, maybe the Outlaws in July. Little chilly today, but not a lot of traffic, overall it felt good to get on the road and twist her up a bit.

Not feeling well since last Thursday. Ill like having a GI bug and also the room spinning around. Spent the afternoon in the VA Emergency room. Labs and IV's. My potassium level is way low, below critical low. 2.7 ( normal range is from 3.6 to 5.2 millimoles per liter) High risk for cardiac issues with levels so low. Many side effects from low potassium. I think I have half of them. Back to the ER tomorrow for follow up labs. This low range is likely a side effect of some of the many medications I normally take.

I am running ZORIN OS 12 ULTIMATE

Easy look changer if you want the Win look, or make it look like Mac or one of the various Nix desk tops.

Cool way to set up a puter is to do a dual boot setup.

Put Nix on one drive and Win 10 on the other. (Or on a big azz drive with large partitions)

Use the nix for all online stuff (Far less prone to any virus issues)

Here is my most recent box

    Thermaltake CORE P5
The unit is on an articulated TV screen wall mount.

I added the drive bays (scavenged from an old junk case) to the top right and also fitted a liquid cooler radiator scavenged from the same old case.

So far I don't have the water pumper hooked up...just waiting to the next update...

    A couple pix

One pano of the room showing the 50 inch screen that I set up for my monitor

I kick back in my reclining office chair, put my feet up (Blanket on table) and get cozy...
