How did you attach the plastic to the cattle panels? I will have one available soon for a greenhouse next year.
I will take a pic tomorrow. It’s not fancy and I will be buying wiggle wire tracks for next year. As of right now it’s literally just 1*1 warped in the plastic and screwed to the sides.
Wow, just caught sight of this thread, revived after a 2 yr hiatus. Thanks for picking the thread back up, I love the greenhouse (and expansions) that you made. Have you had to replace the plastic over the greenhouse at all, or is that still the original plastic. Very impressive what you've done with pallets. I just wish I had access to more pallets. Gonna have Chazsbetterhalf check out this thread as well. She loves fresh strawberries, I love fresh tomatoes.
Start cruising the back lots of just about any local store...they are everywhere once you start looking in the right places...most places will let you take them...unless they have arranged already for someone to come get them, and that seems to be only about 20% of the places I've checked
You can find pallets all over! Usually if there by the road they are free... Lots of business will put them out because a lot of pallet companies charge to take them. That’s the dilemma of my current employer they get charged to dispose so we give away hundreds of pallets... I have replaced the plastic a few times now. One year we had a full on tornado and it all but destroyed the greenhouse. It had to be seriously repaired including plastic. Last year I replaced the plastic as well. My estimate is about every 2 years it’s replaced BUT that’s with $30 Farm and Home greenhouse plastic not professional greenhouse plastic which costs big $$$$$$..
You can also go to most Home Depot’s and Lowe’s and ask they give them away too. That’s how I’ve gotten some boxes and pallets over the years.
Yeah I was told our HD had some free for the taking, but they were beat up pretty bad. I need to get my beat up trailer fixed and install a tow kit under the caddy. Or trade in the Dodge Journey that I despise, and get a truck. Or both.
