    Hoarders dream! May 24 2018 (7).JPG
This log is bigger than the picture gives credit.

    Really nice yellow cedar.
    May 24 2018 (2).JPG
Start of a frame to stack the wood on.
    May 24 2018 (4).JPG
    Yesterdays load stacked.
    May 24 2018 (12).JPG
    Today's load added.

Room for four more loads. I normally would not stack wood outside but the pickings are to good to pass up. Yellow Cedar can stand outside not covered for years and not rot.

Are these cull logs off the deck?
Seems like a massive piece of cedar to turn into firewood.
    Nice score

Yes they are cull logs most of them have "Pocket Rot" rot that has no consistent pattern throughout the log .

Does Yellow Cedar have the aromatic smell of traditionally good smelling red cedar?

Love yellow cedar. I think it smells like lemons, at least down here it does.

I've never burned yellow cedar. Wow, what a score on the firewood! That will keep you busy for a while. Is this in Alaska? The view from your house is awesome. Hope you have 4-wheel drive.:salute:
