Well, its been a long time coming!
This shed was here when we bought the place. About half the shed was on the neighbor's ROW.
The doors never closed good and after years of being way outta level and bees chewing away at it...and animals trying to take up residence in and under it, it was finally time to go!

In came the dumpster (pic through window...and screen...but you get the point) 20180518_104644.jpg

How do ya like 'em doors?
    untitled (55).jpg

First, removed the doors, and cut front wall off with a sawzall
You can see the lean and how far out of level it is.

Time to bring that shed down to size:dex: If you look close you can see where I chained the walls together so it would pull both sides over.
    :bug:

One more tug to flatten it out a little:cool:

First 4 hours friday evening. Just started to rain so another pic from the window.

Filled the dumpster so we just burnt the rest. (About half the floor)

I'll shovel the ashes and nails into the dumpster tomorrow morning

This gives me enough room for 2 more years worth of firewood. I have a couple cords stacks against the house in that last pic that will get moved over to where the shed was.

Tomorrow the neighbor is going to get the stone out of the yard with his Kubota FEL and york rake.

I did about the same with an lil old hen house that was here when we bought the place...used it for "junk" storage...then the roof leaked, etc, etc, etc.
Knocked it down with a Bobcat

Good to get that out of the way Tim. I started working on one of ours a few days ago but will only work on it when I can't do other things. It has to come down for sure but I'm still amazed at how much junk got thrown in there over the years.

TurboDiesel, great job! My real questions..
    1) How long did it take to clean it out in order to remove it?
    2) How did you keep others from filling it back up before demo?

Not being sarcastic, these are serious questions.. Our pole barn NEEDS to be releveled, every year I clean out a 10 by 20 section. It magically fill up every year!!
