Fair enough. Eagles are majestic no mistake, but I think most life forms are beautiful in their own way....although it's hard to appreciate those that sting sometimes :/

And as for our species.....well, it usually seems the good ones are the exception sadly.

Eagles are impressive. I had the pleasure of seeing a Golden Eagle take to flight on the side of a roadway. Most majestic creature taking off in a cloud of dust. We live at approx. 600 ft elevation and had a Bald Eagle fly past our house on two occasions. One was probably a juvenile male. You remember each an every detail when you’ve seen one.

We have quite a few bald eagles around here. Being next to the Mississippi river helps. Saw a bald eagle chowing down on a dead deer a couple of weeks ago. I think he left some for his friends.:binoculars:

It is great to see the eagle making a strong comeback. We are blessed with many in MI. I do not ever remember seeing one in my youth but now see them quite a bit.

Funny, the crabapple is in full bloom since Wednesday, but the lilac just started to open up.

Another gorgeous day today in progress. I have taken today off work for a visit to the optometrist. Hopefully there hasn't been a lot of changes.

Got my forehead and nose burnt yesterday. Our school had a Totem pole unveiling ceremony yesterday and it was clear blue skies and the ceremony was at noon. The brisk breeze kept it coolish out so you didn't notice the sunburn until later. We had 1200 people from four communities out for the ceremony. It was quite impressive. When I get pictures, I will post a couple of them. The traditional regalia was awesome.
