Where and what to say? It's either been broke by amateurs trying to fix it or stripped to sell the hardware.

It has a great patina! If the box is solid that alone would be worth $500. Looking at it it’s either a parts truck or someone uses it as advertising or such. I guess someone could restore it. It’s probably worth more up here in the rust belt where solid body parts are hard to find.

I agree with Jack about the rusting areas. Put it on craigslist anywhere around here and you might get some interest.

Could also get a hold of Aaron (the bearded wonder) from gas monkey. I hear he's doing something with old Ford's.

Learned some new things, its actually a 1957. Cool, it was the 129th one produced! It does have an engine (I'll get some more pictures for the ebay listing). My neighbor wants it gone, the whole thing at once. What 's everyones opinion on $1500?

perfect for a street rod build, won't use much except the sheet metal. eBay fees are going to be high. I would go with CL first, find where Fords are popular, Texas??, and start there. Around here, central Ohio, is MOPAR country want to sell a MOPAR list it here. Actually looks pretty complete as far as a builder.
IIRC the doors overlap the rear body?? It might not hurt to try and email shifting gears, aaron kaufmann, he has a line of reproduction parts and it just might interest him. Going to takes one with deep pockets. heck you might even get on tv.

I'd ask if the engine is in running condition or not- body looks like it's decent shape to do a restoration, but the interior is completely shot. Selling it without dealing with tire kickers, phone calls or anything for $1500 sounds appealing. If the engine is running, as your neighbor to make another offer considering its got a running engine. They might voluntarily raise their offer.

She bought the abandoned property next to her lot 16 years ago, and the truck came with it. She's never tried to start it (no keys either). And the property had been abandoned for a decade or so before she bought it.

If she doesn't have plans to restore the truck, I'd take the $1500 and run with it.

Can she sell it without a title and let the buyer take care of it ? Or does she need to go through the abandoned vehicle mickey mouse steps?

May have to check state laws. You can buy vehicles here w/o title. I think a new title can be issued against a sales receipt? It's called filling for lost title or something. I'd bet that your state has their own set of rules though. Check DMV website?

Around here (se MI) you could air up the tires load it on a car hauler and the first car show for 1500.00 it most likely have a new home.

In Michigan you can apply for a new title. I bet every state is different on that matter.
