    Looks walnuty , maybe Butternut /white walnut

    Locust leaves are oval (no point at tip)

    Some kind of a nut tree but the bark just looks weird for walnut.

    I was thinking same. I’ve seen a few of these and the bark has much more ridges than I’m used to but following the maturity level of this tree...

    Yeah, I'm unfamiliar with butternut trees, but the leaf structure is the same, just fewer leaves than black walnut as TurboDiesel stated.

    It's Butternut. Walnut leaflets are alternating. Butternut are pinnate. Bark is a bit goofy though.

    Could be English walnut. I've seen them that size. Look for some nuts on the ground. Squirrels love them though, so they might be gone.
