Are Californians a super intelligent race of people?
I was reading the label on my cat's flea collar. "Notice: This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer." I have seen this on other products also.
Logical conclusion: Since it is only known to the state of California and no one else, they must be a super intelligent race of people.
    Just wondering.

A super intelligent race of people wouldn't need labels.

Maybe it only causes cancer in California?

Not to get political but California law now demands that you have to install solar panels on new buildings including homes!:zip:

Just heard that on the radio yesterday I think it was.
I would like solar panels on my house, but not fond of the Gov't mandating that I put them on.:bug:

As far as the labels for the cancer causing ingredients, IIRC just one carcinogenic element mandates that the entire product must be labeled.

A company I used to work had to put that on EVERYTHING that shipped out the door. Didn't matter what ingredient was the "offending" ingredient or how much was in it. If a carcinogen is involved, label is applied.

This while increasingly they have to PAY other states to take their excess solar power.I guess they still come out ahead at the end of the day.

Oh, as an aside to my previous post, if you open up your computer and see those microchips on the boards, whatever you do, DO NOT put those chips into dips, and eat them.

The semiconductor molding compound that surrounds the integrated circuits "contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer."

Also, don't eat lead paint, suck on lead fishing weights, whatever it is people do with 'bath salts', don't do Tide Pods (unless you are putting them in the washing machine)

Oh, almost forgot one that is likely driving many Californians nuts, DO NOT EAT raw Kale, I heard a report that it is unhealthy unless it's cooked or 'wilted' at minimum.

That's all the health tips I have for today, tune in tomorrow for another exciting episode of ..

There's just more lawyers in California. Predominantly in Southern California.

It's be great as soon as northern California becomes a separate state from southern California. It's not like that across the entire state.

Well, I must admit that my statements were quite "general" and I know very well that not everyone is as their state of residence is portrayed. I live in NY, and throughout my travels have always had to explain that "NO, I'm not from NYC, and have never been there". That astounds some people. I however have never lost anything in NYC, so therefore no reason to go there.

I've lived in several states, and have met good and bad people everywhere I've been.

I am not bashing Californians, only the stereotype.

Don't get me started on Texas. :zip::whistle:
Lets just say, like the song said.. "All my exes live in Texas"
(Or at least I hope she's still there. :D)

Norcal is great. I would live there if it were a separate state. Socal is literally the last part of the country I'd live...and I've spent enough time there to know.

Note the sticker says "the State of California." It is not the people, it is the state, meaning the government. The people are generally OK, lived there a few years.

But yes, Northern is better than Southern.

I live in oregon. So ya i have met and worked with alot of californians. There is good and bad wherever you go. Oregon has alot of liberal scum also. For those who live far away from the west coast, i will inform you that eastern oregon and eastern washington might as well be considered part of idaho. Yes there are loggers and hillbillys west of the cascades, and some great folks among them but they are vastly outnumbered.

I'd say Oregon is just as split as California. Eastern Oregon is a bunch of redneck right wingers, and Portland and the Cascades West are all peace loving smoking hippies. Lol.

Sounds like New York, very liberal in the cities. The rural county I live in is very conservative. It’s like night and day.
