Those people that HAVE to have the newest iPhone are the biggest perpetrators. It's a thing, unfortunately, and why I'm not an iPhone fan.

As with everything, there's always those that take things just too far.

For me, I use technology to make my life easier.

Yep, I can't imagine those clowns that will pay stupid money to buy the newest phone that someone buys and flips.

For the past many years I would always buy the previous models. If they were selling the Galaxy S5, I got the 3. Then the 5 when the 7 came out. I used to LOVE the 99 cent BlackBerry sales before they started gouging for phones. I have the latest and greatest phone this time because it just came out, and was cheaper than the old one with a trade in. So I traded my old work iPhone that I didn't use anymore.

WWW wrote a check for what we owed to the IRS on October 20th, 2017. Gave to the corporate accountant while in the accountant appt that sent it in with tracking #. It cleared TODAY, May 15th 2018. For how much $$ they need and gov't shut downs etc., you'd think it might help if they did not sit on a check for 7 months.

I am surprised the bank accepted it as cheques usually are considered "stale" or invalid after six months.

Actually it was like that for a LONG time... It wasn’t till about a year ago we could get internet by itself. I don’t know if Dennis has the same carrier but thy did that to my parents as well for many years. I’m guessing frontier? He doesn’t live far from me.... They call it a dry loop or that’s what the telemarketing bozos called it when they tried to get us back. That company is a joke...

I have had at least three models back on IPhones bought refurbished or the cheapest android known to the human race.

The first new phone I’ve had is this one and I didn’t buy it work pays for it. I can almost guarantee it will be at least 4 years on this one till an upgrade but I’m not paying so who cares:dex:

Either y’all’s level of excitement with the kiddos is on the rise, or you need some trimming of your own?

Similar here!! Except we look to be a week or so ahead of you. In town where it's more protected and sprinkler systems etc., is a bit further along. Woooo, leaves are sprouting on the Lilac outside my bedroom window!

What's your elevation, is that the difference? Or is it terrain, or what?

4 years, we'll see. Phones are planned to last about 2 years now. I've got about 3.5 yrs on my flagship Android. I get odd battery issues from time to time and it's due to be replaced.

Do you mind if I ask? My neighbor is looking at buying a 2001 Chevy 4x4 dually flatbed. She thinks it's a 3/4 ton. Granted we were going 65 mph when we drove past it today-- but based on the exterior it's obviously been garaged, so lets guesss the engine has been maintained well too. What do you think about $4500?

PS, vehicles do not rust and erode out here like out east if you remember our 99' F250.

It's say that's a good deal. But GM had serious corrosion issues on brake lines and other chassis components. So check that out when though vehicles typically don't rust by you. The "quality" of brake lines gm used in that era was atrocious.

In order to be a dually, it's got to be a 3500 or 1 ton, not a 2500 ( 3/4 ton). I'm guysgues it's got a Duramax diesel in it too. That's good, as you know.
