Been out of the build a computer game for a bit. Last I know ASrock was budget stuff and ASUS was top tier. From what I understand ASrock have come a long way over the years.

I always loved the jet fighter sims but those have since faded away to the role playing and first person shooter games

Same here, I keep saying I should build a new computer then realize I dont have the time for the games plus not really into the role playing games

The Boss opened the back door and the cats window before she headed to her quilter's retreat in NH closing and locking the back door was no problem the cats window got closed but not latched, couldn't do that without it hurting.

I'm fending for myself as the Boss has deserted her Bear and Kitty. Whenever she leaves the Bear gets something for a treat usually it is a steak or two this time I got Scallops, have done Shrimp and Scallops and stew makings in the past. Bear feeds himself good stuff when the Boss leaves town. Leftovers get left out.

It came thru here around 4 yesterday lots of rain and thunder boomers , but no power loss ,. A bit north and east of me got hammered , they say tornado touched down . On the way home today, I took the back roads to avoid traffic , had to weave my way thru down trees and wires , and on one road had to turn around trees still blocking the road :hair:.

Several towns around us are a total wreck, Brookfield being the worst. a 2 mile wide 5 mile long path they say was caused by a macroburst. Looks like a bit farther east might have been cause by a twister.

Should be a firewood shortage next year.........

2 tornadoes confirmed not far from me yesterday. I was at work and the wind was wicked. So many trees down around Newburgh, thousands and thousands w/o power (mine never even blinked, according to the digital clocks), and some lost roofs, garages, cars, and 11 yr. old girl killed when tree fell directly on their SUV......horrible. :(

x2 - it was very sad to see this on the news JT. This severe weather seems to be trending more prevalent for mid-Atlantic states and New England over the past few years.

It's getting to that time of year here where the door to the electrical closet here needs to be cleared & accessible, to shut the Main breaker off in case of storms.. And to go through the yearly instruction on how to do so w/ the ladies, we do this every year.

Not much new on the mountain here: finally determined the '01 Intrigue has to have a head-gasket issue, it's still overheating after being under engine load for 30 minutes +. Or a major blockage internal to the engine passages, it wouldn't surprise me either. With the warm weather here, it's just about "off the road".

I took the '00 Camry to the local trusted mechanic to get evaluated, even at 270,000 miles they stated it was worth investing $$$ to get needed brake & suspension work / struts & alignment done. I agree - it's been a good vehicle to us, and still has no rust, even after being in NH for a few years from it's former life in Florida. New tires, timing belt & water pump were done July last year, so it should be good to go for awhile after these repairs.

Hoping to pick it up after repairs are done tomorrow / early next week. Then the '01 Intrigue gets parked until sold.

Emily graduates UNH Saturday! How time flies, when you're paying tuition. My folks made the trip up from FL to be there for the ceremony, really looking forward to seeing them this weekend.

Hope everyone is doing well - and taking it easy, resting & recuperating if not: gone from lugging bags of pellets, to bags of fertilizer for the garden, the "Boss" say no rest for the Wicked here. Garden planting is next week.

    Have a fun weekend all.
