Saturday morning… and it's really nice outside. Not sure of the temp, but nice. Looks like a sunny warm day on tap. The snow pack's gonna take a hit this next week I think, after, what we get tomorrow for sleet, rain, snow… ugh.

If my honey's feeling better, we got to get outside… ;)

The boys want to go to the scrap yard. I got half the stuff loaded. Waiting for the misses to get up to watch the littlest. I let her get a little extra sleep when I'm home. The boys love going and they get the money to put in their banks. Trying to teach them money doesn't grow on trees, unless you sell firewood.

I'm fairly certain that I planted a few money trees outside, the tags said they start yielding in 3 to 5 years.

It is amazing what you can get for the scrap, especially copper and lead. I grab the computer power cords, power supplies and dead UPS batteries at work. A couple of copy paper boxes of cords gets $50 at the dirty copper prices. The old laptop transformers add up at $.25/pound. A pail of them gets heavy. We found a local battery refurbishing guy who will pay better than scrap for the big UPS battery trays. He wants the trays so he can change the batteries and resell.

Those covered porches will keep you dry when sampling beer too!

What? Someone has to sample the beer.
