I'd plan on burning some wood if the crap that we had yesterday hits y'all in the East. I've still got the coals burning down from last night. That fire with a big ugly piece of honey locust was the prettiest kind of ugly ever.

It's already 46° here this am, headed to 52. Maybe a little more rain this afternoon. Hopefully not. I'll look for some more uglies to burn for tonight.

Yeah that's why I was happy to see the top snap out of it during the storm last Friday...pretty much just the trunk left standing...made it about half as tall...a lot less likely to hang up in other trees too!

I'm at my daughter's soccer game right now. It's pretty cold and feels raw. No rain yet though. I'm gonna grab a load of wood to bring in when I get home.

Today I finished installing all fence post for new horse pasture on higher ground. Now to finish moving some topsoil for her for her wild flower garden she wants to plant in front of the barn.

Tomorrow I go buy some of the fencing and start putting that up. Get that pasture work done off and on over the next week, week and a half.

Time to start cutting grass too!

Put the mower on the tractor today. All ready to go. Probably still 2-3 weeks away from 1st cut though. At least I'm ready................

Unlike rottiman my mower deck is not on my tractor yet. I do have the deck at my house now though, so that helps. ;)

Our lawn is past due to mow. You might be able to see that.

    I plan on mowing tomorrow.

Hiding in the trailer is the log splitter. I have to split about a cord of fir, apple and black walnut.
