What? That could get really expensive, really fast for the young man.

Can you get a half-moon, bound, in the same color as the 9x12? We bought remants for the finished basement, and the cost for binding them was almost as much as the cost of the carpet, for some reason.

35° this am, up to 39° for a high here, and it's falling. Rain too all day. There was sleet in the rain at lunch. Not much ice in the big drops, but it was cold.

Needless to say, the quadrafire is going tonight.

I lit a fire right after I had dinner.

I can and they do :) They have many sizes each of square, rectangle, oval, and half moon, all bound. They are running a sale on this color, 8x10 for $99 . The price has me sold on that size rug, but questioning the Taffy Apple color (schroll to the close up pic if you don't mind?). We were going for the dark brown one (mud, dogs etc), is $50 more. The other option I like that is both darker and denser weave is even more :picard: Oh, and I have a 15% off coupon too:dex:
8′ x 10′ Taffy Apple Indoor Frieze Area Rug | Taffy Apple 25 oz 3/8″ Thick Frieze Carpet Area Rug

Idk, there will be muddy pawprints or feet as well as an accident here from one of the pets or kiddo before we know it. Kwim?

I think that Taffy Apple is too light. But not my house and I certainly don't have to clean it, so I can go with whatever you choose :salute:

    Yep.

In far northern Illinois it was 84° when we never got above 40.

It was more drastic earlier. Screenshot_2018-05-11-21-01-51.png

Although this chart is wrong. The current temp is 39°

Is this better? I went with this one. two 8 x 10's instead of the half moon (half moon was too expensive).

I'm springing for a pad underneath, I still sit/lay on the carpet and watch tv at night sometimes as well as play with the kiddo there and the old wool braided rug is hard on the knees and buttocks. Choices are 1/2 felt or 1/4" felt rubber backed. I'm wondering if an 8x10 needs the antislip rubber backed with less padding?

I'd put the anti slip pad under it, especially if it's on a smooth floor.

I think that is perfect for hiding dirt but not being too dark for the space.

It was 45F when I woke up this morning. Somewhere around 4am I woke up and heard the radiators pinging indicating the furnace kicked on because the window was open. Good thing I can reach the thermostat from bed!

32 here yesterday morning and under bright sunshine all day it made it up to 48. This morning it is 28 under bright sunshine. They say we'll make the mid 50's this afternoon. The Hummingbirds arrived on Wednesday and are hammering the feeders since then. Got the stoves cleaned up and moth-balled for the summer so the propane furnace is getting a little exercise. Everyone have a great day.

Rofl the blanket had me plenty warm.

High of 52F here today and rain. I might have to go grab some punky stuff off the trash pile before the rain starts.
