Nice looking shed, I look at the sheds as much as the wood. And the wood looks mighty fine.

Oh wow. If you get tired of seeing that shaggy barked tree by your wood pile, I might be tempted to come to NH with saw in hand!

Come to NH, if you can. The area White Mtn's are spectacular., and you can enjoy the GTG, without hosting it. And, take down whatever tree that seems to be begging to be taken down.

I'd like to Mike. 800 miles does make one think though.

    Than
oh ya im fortunate enough to have 6 acres and a whole lot of hickory on it. I use alot of it on the indoor bbq during winter. Even the nut shells are nice in the electric smoker too. The hickory nuts are tasty but a real pain in the a$$ to open

To open the nuts, it is best to store them inside a barn or something using onion bags. Hang them from rafters using wire and not string as this will keep mice out. Leave them at least 3 months but longer is better. Then they will crack easier and also easier to get the meat out.

It has its own flu and the woodstove is behind that deer head wall in the family room. For parties i fill that island with build your own kabob fixings and everyone cooks their stuff on the grill. Its a sweet setup for sure.
