New "Deep Indigo Pearl" Wood Hauler

Were running taller than factory tires on ours. I saw they fit from Toyota owners forums from one guy. There is some dedicated guys there on highlanders and they know im well.
Anyway I am running g 225 75 16 on mine instead of factory 70 series. There goodyear wrangler st-? Why cause 75 series are cheaper. Its such a small amount that your speedo is not off hardly any. And the big reason is a good buddy works at dodge and these are the factory jeep wrangler and liberty tire. They are brand new, like maybe 30 miles on them tires taken off of new wranglers at the dealer to install dealer lift kits. The tires are technically used so they can't sell them. Buddy got a set of 4 for free for me!!!

 

Ive got a 2008 Honda CRV AWD.....i loooove it. I have hitch.... A regular flatbed trailer and a cargo trailer that i refurbed from the scrapyard ! It pulls them great ! And the heated leather seats dont make me feel bad at all

 

I pull with our highlander. A 4x8 trailer with atv or whatever . And pull the 17.5 ft fish n ski boat. Boat is right up to the toe limit is my guess

 

Nice, good color choice, my wife went with the metallic grey in 2010 and I have since taken over her car as she got the dreaded mommy-van.

Did you mention 4 or 6 banger? We have the 4, can't get out of its own way, but 30+ mpg on the highway and by far the best vehicle I have ever owned in the snow.

2700lbs towing capacity is not too shabby for most modern SUVs never mind a car!

I stick with the Conti's year round and its not a problem in Mass.

 

All seasons, we had about 8 inches of wet snow and it didn't skip a beat turning up hill to the right on our pretty steep drive. My jeep and work truck I had to lock in 4 wheel every time. It's amazing how it jumps around to whatever tire is slipping.

 

My new work truck the 2012 colorado does that as well brakes wheels individual and reduces engine speed so that you can slip the tires.

 

That was one of my other top choices, my parents had one for years that was very nice. My sister got it via their estate and is still driving it.

 

See, you're already pulling a trailer full of "whatever" ..........................., now you just need to convince your wife how fun it is to pull firewood out of the woods on a beautiful fall/winter morning in your luxury hauler.

 

My E-150 "daddy van" is in the photo behind it. I got the 3.6L -6, hated to give up 5 mpg, but I need to be able to tow with confidence. This 2014 has a 3000lb rating.

Good to know about the Conti's. I figured they would be good down here in NE OH, probably will do fine then for that occasional trip up I-90 to Buffalo. Get a lot of lake effect on that stretch!

 

I'm not a big fan of the Conti' tires....they ride nice but seem to wear quick. In the winter I prefer the Michelin x-ice tires and Cooper's in the good weather. Just my personal preference though. Nice looker Boog.

 

Dont get jump solus kr21 tires rated at 80k miles. We got 15k out of them...they were minutes by toyota balanced there and vehicle aligned there and rotated. They were cheap but I was like hey 80k , I didnt believe that but thought 50 surely??

I could of bought some china knock of all terrains and got better mileage out of those.
