    Wait.....it’s a walnut tree! That explains everything. It’s probably one of those “highly valuable” walnut trees. He’s probably not going to cut it up for firewood, he’s probably going to sell it. You may not realize it, but it is worth far more money than the van it is loaded in. $$ChaChing$$. Who’s foolish now?

    they were actually doing that around here, stealing hard wood trees, they built a rack on the back of the truck, dropped the tree into it and drove away. Several years ago IIRC, was on 60 minutes or one o them shows.
