I want to consolidate 2 tanks to 1, but there is too much fuel right now...

Late summer is usually the best time to buy HHO. But, you never know what the market will do. And of course, any time a bomb goes off in the right place, the price can spike. We usually wait till August .

I expect it will be going up for sure and not down. Same with gasoline.

Yeah I'm kinda thinking we've already seen the bottom on oil prices...no where to go but up. Of course I'm the guy that tries to time my gas purchases, and usually loses.
When fuel oil was $3.50 (or whatever is was then) gallon back in '08, that's what spurred my interest in wood heat...I bought this place in '98...fuel oil was around $1 then....and then filled up for $0.69 one year, those days are gone!

I keep up to date with prices here:
    New England Oil Prices
for my area, the dealers that participate appear to keep their prices up to date.

(scroll down the page) for Pa it doesn't seem like there is a lot of participation, but there is at least some.

I also like this site: https://www.nasdaq.com/markets/heating-oil.aspx
but it does some weird things with an ad-blocker turned on

That's a great idea. Do you think it would pay to drill a few holes in both sides to have some circulation?
    Thanks

It get's pretty hot in the sun. I'll see how things work out and can add something later. I'm worried it will turn into a winter condo for mice and the lovely stink they bring with them with too many holes. There is a hole in the bottom and several of the threaded fill/vent openings are open and it's no where near air tight as it is. I'll only be using this for the grill and if we get tired of looking at it in the yard it might move down to the river camp for cooking and the fire pit.

Sounds like it already has its’ own built-in ridge vent system. I’ll bet it does an awesome job of drying out wood! Great score.
