    Truth!

Beyond the fact that I live in BFE with lock box for mail several miles away, I have a theory..... After delivery service for a couple decades now between both my employment (regional sales, no B&M home office, a lot of product shipped to me) as well as ordered everything but perishables from Amazon for a few years after grocery shopping became difficult for me. It is that UPS negotiates great contracts, FedEx less talented in negotiating contracts, and USPS takes all the leftovers. The consistency over all these years is that FedEx takes all the oversized/heavy deliveries, and UPS the light weight/smaller deliveries. Still makes me wonder though when UPS delivers a small 1/2 lb box to my home but takes a case of 48 rolls of toilet paper and leaves it "smartpost" at the post office instead.

I neglected to mention Pellet Pigs, I got an alert from a deal website shortly after imacman posted about Amazon Prime. The comments seemed to think much of Amazon's revenue comes from the digital part, (AWS). Sure enough I posted a couple days ago here in another forum that I had a new $60 charge for digital picture storage from Amazon. Called and they refunded the amount but I do not remember buying that unless it was in the fine print I missed when ordering custom photo books for Christmas gifts.

Hope this is right as my renewal is June 4

"the price of an annual U.S. Prime membership to $119 from $99 starting May 11 for new members and June 16 for renewing members."

Maybe some can renew early as well and get another year at 99?

    My reality today;
Rain is expected to begin this afternoon and then change to snow this evening as temperatures drop below the freezing mark. Latest indications suggest local snowfall amounts could exceed 10 cm before the snow tapers off late Saturday morning.(4" or more)
    Winter isn't over yet :(

You'll keep that up until you decide to keep a cane with you. I am sick of falling. For one thing, I am too fat for someone to be able to help me get back on my feet so I have to do it on my own. Inside, not a real problem as I can "furniture walk, but outside is another story. Not safe without that third point of support. Sometimes it is a plastic lawn chair I might drag around with me. Other times it is my walker that has a nice seat on it and a basket to put things in. Given up on how it looks, I just want to stay upright.

I think I'll drop my Kindle subscription. I seldom use it so the 11 or 12 bucks a month will more than offset this price increase. Another offset would be to get an Amazon rewards card. They wrote me that I could have $350 in rewards from my purchases had I used their card. I just don't want another card.

Well the pace yourself crap didn't do my stamina any damm good so I over did it and that landed me on my face. Will do it my way now. If any of the "experts" saw my lot they would do things differently. I tell them and they don't listen. The doc hasn't got it yet and the PT folks were/and will always be behind the eight ball on this.

Monday evening I walked to the mailbox and back with the junk mail. That is a normal distance for me (or it used to be). No trouble .2 miles uphill both ways.

The boss went to help the SA gals get ready for their fabric sale. She ordered one of those call buttons for me. So after it gets here I can wander the lot again.

Summer tried hard to get going early.

The last 3-4 days have been in the mid to upper 80's around here with the AC running off and on starting at around 11 am

The AC ran its last shot last night about 7 pm

This morning the rain is back and I tossed a fire in the big Whit to get the chill off (64 f in here)

Rain and cool through early next week.

    Strange weather

That’s what car jacks and moly are for when you get older.

I heard some are buying themselves "gift memberships" at $99 before the $ goes up.
