Getting back to the ballroom jeans, I got them in the mail today. They seem to be a real quality product and the zippers sure are built to last. When I put on the twill pants I felt like Scrooge McDuck the pockets were so deep. I could certainly wear the twills every day at work and be very happy. Sent both pairs back because they sit on me differently than other brands (this is a good thing) and I need a different waist size to match the new position. Very pleased that they seem to send a return slip and prepaid return sticker for USPS with every order. Just dropped it in the big blue box (not the TARDIS).
I got an email last night that they had received my return and another this morning saying the new size had shipped. Pretty painless.
I would prefer sweats, but they tear up like crazy if you try to do much of anything for work wearing them. Can't seem to have them on for a day without ripping them somewhere. Like jeans but don't like them pulling on my thighs when I sit. I am too fat, so that has a lot to do with it. I'll buy the next size up, looks baggy but I can't stand clothes pulling on me while I am trying to move around. I have had pants with the gusset in them. If you are sitting on the floor trying to fix something, you can move better without getting the squeeze. Another thing is trying to get pants that have the waist in the right area. No hip huggers, and nothing several inches lower than the belly button. I have found suspenders do a good job of keeping your pants from going down. There are a lot more men wearing them now than in the past. I just bought a pair that only buckle on the side of your pants. I think they look better and do the job well. It will be interesting to hear how the Duluth Jeans wear.
One of the selling points for these jeans is that they have more room I the thighs, and they definitely aren't hip huggers, which the ones I am currently wearing are. Not that comfortable and hard to keep in place. I am hoping the duluths will be much better.
Update: I've been wearing these for almost 6 months now and they are still like new. Just ordered another pair of the everyday twill work pants and three pairs of under the shirt suspenders since they went on clearance last night. Why under the clothes? Because I can't wear suspenders at work and because my shirt is constantly coming untucked when I do wear regular ones.
O.k. now get some of the buck naked boxer briefs to go with those jeans. kinda pricey at 20 bucks a pair but I will never switch back to anything else.
Well...umm...I...ummm...have learned a lot on this thread. Something new everyday. Ballroom. I was thinking dancing pants. Guess not! Ha!
I found some I like a lot too. Had my kids grinnin last Thanksgiving when I told them I had something I had to admit to em… I was coming out of the closet… I wear suspenders…
I went to a concert one of my grand kids was in a month ago. I was amazed how many young men there were wearing suspenders.
I am looking forward to trying them, I like wearing suspenser but am pretty annoyed when my short gets all bunched up at the bottom.
